Elyza & Lachlan Stuart – 9 years
For us, swimming is fun. We’ve been swimming since we were 3 years old. Stephen is our coach and he has guided us to swim to “be the best we can be”. He has taught us a lot, and he encourages us to never give up. (Although we might not be the easiest to coach, Stephen is persistent!)
We have just finished our first year of competitive swimming, where we qualified for both Brisbane Championship Meets. It was at this meet that Lachlan achieved a 3rd place in 8 yrs 50M Back (LC).
We were very excited to BOTH be awarded Age Champions for 8 year olds at Club Championships in the 2017/18 season.
Our goal for this year is to try and make the Metropolitan West team in 2019. And yes, we are twins.
